1. Check the ‘Identities match rate” based on identified visitors located in ‘audiences’. It should be at least 60% or over. If not, this means that we do not have the consumer files in our database.

  1. If the identities match rate is at least 60% or over - then it means you have a healthy match rate for identities. The next step is to go to ‘devices’ identified then see the running total match rate - this should be anywhere from 20-70%. Anything lower could be an issue.

Please note the total identities identified and match arte is a running total for the entire history of each website account.

  1. If both the identities match rate and device match rate is above average, then the reason for low matches could be the actual traffic source. To identify this, head over to the ‘dashboard’ and look at the visitor count. You should be able to see the number of visitors are from the UNITED STATES as opposed the rest of the world. Please note that at this time we ONLY resolve identities for US based traffic.

  1. If your visitors in the US seems lower than what you might be seeing in Google Analytics or on Facebook ads, there could be a good chance that this is due to bot traffic skewing the results.

By default the tracking analytics platform we use does not track any bots or spiders, this often means the traffic will appear lower than other platforms (Clickfunnels, Landing page creators, Wordpress or even Google Analytics).

To see whether bots are the issue - go to your Google Analytics account and follow the comparison guide.
